Unemployment Insurance Operations Center closed Friday in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day
Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System available online
All New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions’ offices, including the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center, will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day.
The Unemployment Insurance Tax & Claims System (www.jobs.dws.nm.gov) is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customer Service Agents in the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center will be available when business hours resume on Monday, June 22, at 8:00am. The business hours of the Unemployment Insurance Operations Center are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions would like to remind all eligible Unemployment Insurance claimants that Friday, June 19, 2026, is a federal holiday. Most banking institutions and the U.S. Postal Service will be closed in observance of Juneteenth. This may result in a delay of banking transactions for Unemployment Insurance benefits.
